Every seller on Gemplore is identity-verified before their first listing goes live. Here's exactly what that involves.
Individual Seller
Personal Verification
For private collectors and individual sellers listing under their own name.
- Government-issued Passport, or National ID front and back
- A clear, unedited photo showing your full name and date of birth
- Details must match the name on your seller profile
Professional Dealer
Business Verification
For registered gem trading businesses listing under a business name.
- Personal identification document (Passport or National ID)
- Certificate of business registration or incorporation
- Business name and registration number on file
How Verification Works
Submit Your Documents
Upload clear photos or scans from your dashboard. JPG, PNG, and PDF are accepted.
Our Team Reviews
A member of our verification team checks your submission for authenticity, generally within 2 business days.
Badge Issued
Once approved, your Verified Seller or Certified Dealer badge appears on your storefront and every listing you publish.
Your Documents Are Protected
Verification documents are stored securely and are only ever visible to our verification team. They are never displayed publicly, shared with buyers, or used for any purpose beyond confirming your identity. If something's unclear or doesn't match - a blurry photo, a name mismatch - we'll tell you exactly what to fix so you can resubmit, not leave you guessing.
